Essential training for all involved in the installation or replacement of refrigeration and air conditioning pipework. This course compliments the F-Gas training courses.
About this course:
The City & Guilds 6187-21 Level 2 Award in Brazing Techniques for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems is a Level 2 vocational qualification designed to develop and assess practical brazing skills for the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industry.
Whilst this qualification demonstrates competence in refrigeration brazing techniques, it is not a BS EN ISO 13585 qualification and does not, on its own, certify a delegate to BS EN ISO 13585 requirements.
Delegates whose employer or contract requires BS EN ISO 13585 certification should be aware that this is a separate certification process.
Following successful completion of the City & Guilds 6187-21 course, delegates will need to arrange inspection and qualification testing through an approved inspection or certification body.
Teknowhow does not provide BS EN ISO 13585 inspection, testing or certification as part of this course
Course Duration
1 Day - This course includes both the training and assessment components and is suitable for engineers who have not previously held a pipework and brazing qualification.
